Breakfast Shortcake
Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup mild flavored honey
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 2 cups Pancake Mix
  • 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powdered
Instructions
  1. Lightly beat egg.
  2. Add and stir in evaporated milk.
  3. Stir in mild flavored honey.
  4. Stir well and add melted butter or margarine.
  5. Stir in Pancake Mix, mixed with baking powder.
  6. Stir until moistened throughout.
  7. Pat out onto greased cookie sheet to make 6 individual shortcakes.
  8. Bake at 325° for 12-15 minutes.
  9. Split and serve with berries or peaches and cream or milk for a breakfast treat.
