Overall success for this part of the project will be measured when all will be able to enjoy the Mill. Completion will be apparent when the first bag of flour is made and sold, the doors are opened to the next group of students and tourists, and the capital of Eagle Point is returned to its rightful place in the Rogue Valley.

Long-term success will be measured by the Mill's continued place on the National Register of Historic Places list, the economic sustainability of the Mill, the continued use of the Mill in local events and generating of locally sourced, nutritional products sold all over the world. Further, a continued eye on the environmental impact that the Mill has on the surrounding area in terms of the sustainable use of the water rights to preserve water and fish habitats.
