Crispy oven Chicken

Baked Chicken with 10 grain cereal mix

Measures and Ingredients:

4 Chicken thighs or 6 to 8 chicken drumsticks

1/4 cup mayonnaise

3/4 cup Butte Creek Mill 10 grain cereal mix



Preheat oven to 375

remove skin from chicken

process cereal in blender or food processor to a flour consistency

put cereal in a flat dish add, salt, pepper, parsley, onion or garlic granules or seasonings of your choice

brush chicken lightly with mayonnaise on all sides and roll in cereal mixture until covered

place in oiled baking dish and bake for 45 minutes, turning after 25 minutes.

Adapted From: I wanted a good for you coating for chicken and experiemented with the cereal, first I tried it without grinding it and it was too hard, the rest of recipe is a basic baked chicken recipe.
