The Mail Tribune had a nice write up on the Gingerbread Jubilee and the winner of Best in Show.
The beloved edifice of Eagle Point’s Butte Creek Mill has been reconstructed — in gingerbread. Burned on Christmas day in 2015, the iconic landmark of Kate Sharbono’s hometown earned a sweet tribute at this year’s GingerBread Jubilee. The Best of Show title and $1,000 grand prize rewarded Sharbono’s faithful rendering of the mill’s myriad details in cookies, candies, and royal icing. Read more…..
