Restore Oregon’s 12 most endangered places For 2018

Oregon is a young state – relatively speaking – but for decades now, we’ve been taking a good, hard look at our cherished older structures, and finding them in need of a little care.

Local nonprofit Restore Oregon makes a mission out of looking after our historic buildings, and this year the group has once again released its list of the places most in need – Oregon’s “most endangered places” for the coming year.

The list for 2018 has some holdovers from last year’s group, and it also includes more than just buildings. The places are scattered across the state, some in the middle of small towns, others in the middle of sprawling forest land. All, however, are in need of rehabilitation if they’re to survive into the next chapter of Oregon’s history.
