Breakfast Shortcake
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup mild flavored honey
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
- 2 cups Pancake Mix
- 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powdered
Instructions
- Lightly beat egg.
- Add and stir in evaporated milk.
- Stir in mild flavored honey.
- Stir well and add melted butter or margarine.
- Stir in Pancake Mix, mixed with baking powder.
- Stir until moistened throughout.
- Pat out onto greased cookie sheet to make 6 individual shortcakes.
- Bake at 325° for 12-15 minutes.
- Split and serve with berries or peaches and cream or milk for a breakfast treat.
