Biscuits
Author: Butte Creek Mill
Serves: 10-12 scrumptious biscuits.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
Instructions
  1. With Biscuit Mix, add shortening, butter and cut in until mixture resembles coarse crumbles.
  2. Add milk to the mix just until dough follows fork around bowl.
  3. Knead 10 times on lightly floured surface and roll to 3/4 inch thick.
  4. Cut with biscuit cutter.
  5. Dot with butter on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 425° 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
