Mixed Bean Soup

Mixed Bean Soup

Serves: 4 to 5 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup 14 Bean Soup Mix
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or any leftover meat
  • 2 cups tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon savory
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 quarts water
Instructions
  1. Wash and soak beans overnights.
  2. Drain and add 2 quarts water.
  3. Combine with remaining ingredients.
  4. Simmer 3 hours and serve with cheese, if desired.
