Orange Pecan Bread
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup mild honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange peel
  • 2 3/4 cup Pancake Mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Beat melted butter into honey until creamy.
  2. Add unbeaten egg and orange peel, mix well.
  3. Add to dry ingredients alternately with orange juice, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in nuts and spoon into well-greased 9-1/4 x 5-1/4 x 3 loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 325° for 1 hour 10 minutes or until done.
