I was born in southern Georgia in 1946 and raised on Southern Cornbread. When I moved to Seattle in 1979, I discovered that some folks made corn cake not cornbread because they added sugar and wheat flour to make it. Deep thanks to you for making it possible for me to have comfort food for my body and soul – so far from my childhood roots – by making REAL Cornbread in Seattle for all these years. Thank you!!!!!
It calls for baking soda right?
