Butte Creek Mill and Oregon Pacific Cookers Present the 6th AnnualGobble Till You Wobble

2012-08-11 12.02.01Turn back the clock for a tasty educational journey at the 6th Annual Gobble Till You Wobble hosted by the Butte Creek Mill with demonstrations provided by the Oregon Pacific Cookers, “where dutch ovens stay hot.”

Charles and Laura Lee from Trailhead Kitchen will be at the Butte Creek Mill Saturday November 14th, roasting turkeys, making stuffing, cranberries, all the trimmings, and desserts all prepared and cooked in Dutch ovens, with the only cooking heat being provided by charcoals.

A great cooking education, as well as watching Dutch Oven cooking at its best.  Demonstrations, and Q and A’s will be taking place while the Thanksgiving Feast is being prepared.  Samples of this Dutch Oven Thanksgiving feast will be available around 2:00 pm and will be available until all is consumed. The event is free, although there is a suggested donation to cover the food costs for this wonderful feast.

It is fun, and a great learning experience for the whole family.  To make the entire experience complete, tours of the Butte Creek Mill will also be available all day, giving you an opportunity to see how flour is made and to stock up on your holiday baking supplies.
