Serves: 10-12 scrumptious biscuits.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup milk
Instructions
- With Biscuit Mix, add shortening, butter and cut in until mixture resembles coarse crumbles.
- Add milk to the mix just until dough follows fork around bowl.
- Knead 10 times on lightly floured surface and roll to 3/4 inch thick.
- Cut with biscuit cutter.
- Dot with butter on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 425° 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
