Maple Nut Oat Bran Muffins

Maple Nut Oat Bran Muffins

Serves: 12 delicious muffins.
Ingredients
  • 2 1/3 cups Oat Bran Muffin Mix (fill cup lightly-do not pack)
  • 1 1/3 cups buttermilk or sweet milk
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (if desired)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or maple flavor syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
  1. Mix entire mixture, stirring about 15 strokes.
  2. Bake in oiled muffin tins at 400 deg. for 20 min. until browned.

    I have quite a few pitted dates and was hoping Butte Creek had a wonderful, moist date cake or date muffins.
