Oatmeal Cookies with Dark Chocolate and Cranberries

Serves: 2-3 dozen.
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1-34 oz pkg Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  1. Blend butter and egg until smooth.
  2. Add water.
  3. Stir in dry mix.
  4. Finally add cranberries and chocolate chips.
  5. Mix thoroughly. (Dough will be stiff)
  6. Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until lightly browning around the edges.
  8. Let cool before removing.

    These are fabulous cookies. The dark chocolate, cranberries and excellent oatmeal dough mix elevate this cookie to after dinner dessert status. The Baking is fool proof, they come out perfect (especially using convection). What a nice discovery.
